1) Barley-A good source of fibre,selenium,phosphorus,copper and manganese.
Adds a robust flavour to soups and stews.
2)Basil-Contains flavonoids and volatile oils that have unique
health-protecting properties.
3)Garlic-Rich source of sulphur-containing compounds,such as allicin,alliln and ajoene
which may help maintain a healthy immune system.It is also a very good source of
manganese,selenium and vitamin B6 and C
4)Kedney beans-A very good source of protien, fibre and the trace mineral, molybdenum,
which is necessary for normal cell function. They are also virtually fat-free.
5)Leeks-Related to garlic and onions, and contain many of the same beneficial compounds.

6)Pumpkin-A good source of potassium and fibre. Also rich source of anti-oxidants,vitamin C and
lutein.
